St Jude shrine convent was established 0n 13 th August 1968 invited by late Rt Rev Bishop Baptist Mudhartha to look after the shrine of st Jude.Sisters stayed in the upper room of the shrine about 14 years and shifted to the present convent that was constructed and inaugurated on22 May 1982. From5 th Jan1969 two sisters joined the staff of Christ the King high school for teaching and continued till2013.In 1983a social centre with tailoring,short hand and TypingClass began adjacent to the shrine by the sisters.0n 1st July1986 st. Joseph's Hindi mediumSchool was handed over to sisters in st.judes convent and sr. Tessy was appointed as the first principal.

Sr tomcy: In 2014 one big hall was constructed and added to the existing building,at the entrance and good elevation was given to this con vent by sr.Jaya when she was provincial of the Lisieux province.
