Message from Provincial Superior

May I warmly welcome you to the web page of Lisieux Province of CTC . It is to feel that we are of one family and there is a need to build up our Province as God wants; setting goals that can be achieved within a period, evaluating the growth and proposing possibilities. promoting good will and encouraging each community to bring out their best.

To be is to express what is within. To have something within, requires a lot of effort. That effort is how we live our spiritual life. Nothing becomes part of us , unless and until it is being nurtured. What we pray and how we live should agree with each other. How grateful are we to God for our Vocation? How thankful are we to our Congregation and all those who brought it up ? This year, we are celebrating the Pearl Jubilee of our Province. 30 years of our identity as a Province. Pearls set in gold for most of the members have completed 50 years in the congregation and feel proud that we lived half a century in the congregation rather than in the home where we were born. Gratitude is still a rare commodity in our society and in our community. Because we believe ever providing benevolent God is our Father and He cannot but lavishly give….give….give and never take back.

As children of this benevolent Father, let us practice few good qualities of our heavenly father. Express gratitude to all our elderly sisters in the community, our Society and Congregation. Be considerate to the elderly who work in our campus and Institutions; even if they are worn out due to hard work they have put in, in their good old days of service. Shouldn’t we be thankful to the young generation that is coming up.

Our junior sisters, our students, and youth group in the Parish . They can learn only from us, what they should do and come upto what they are expected to do. They are the realization of our lives. So let us not demand anything from anybody, but be ready to give out our best. Our best is: “ being the visible face of our merciful and loving father”.

Let us think of our Holy Father Pope Francis. None of us have seen him, but what pride we take, knowing whatever he is doing and how he is living as a role model of Jesus. In recent past, we have witnessed, how Mother Teresa was loved and brought upto the Altar by the whole world. We know the humble beginning of our congregation; our Foundress Mother Eliswa considered herself and her sisters as unworthy servants or poor beggars, and was ready to accept others and share with them all the benefits from God’s abundance. Still we have not come down to humble ourselves. We have difficulty in sensing the pulse of our brethren.

Let this website be a medium to climb down to be like our Father. To be an inspiration in the community by strengthening relationships

To be the one who find out more similarities and ever willing to respect differences. To be the one who takes initiative to do that extra job which no one finds easy to do.

To pardon the wrong and suggest ways to come up with a new life to share.

To be peace loving, peace giving, peace sharing .

May God bless us in our journey !
