By the grace of God the long awaited Odisha Mission began with the collaboration of the OCD priests at Kuchinda in Sambalpur Diocese in the year 2023. Rev.Mother Liza, the provincial Superior and her team with the permission of Mother General Rev. Mother Soosamma initiated this mission for three years of agreement. The sisters are engaged in helping the ICSE School run by OCD Fathers , also extends their service in the substations of the Parish along with the priests. The accommodation of sisters is provided by the fathers in the school building itself. The temporary convent was inaugurated on the feast day of ‘Sacred Heart’ on 16th June 2023 and the Convent was named Sacred Heart Carmel Convent. The convent started in view of promoting vocation and uplifting those who have no facility for better education. At Present there are four members in the convent Sr.Dennis , Sr.Sherina, Sr.Ankita and Sr.Sanjukta
